Water supply, district heating, fiber optics, and electricity

 Ranuan Infra is responsible for water supply, heat energy production and distribution in the central village area of Ranua, as well as the maintenance of the fiber optic network. In addition to the town center, Ranuan Infra’s fiber optic network covers nearly all the inhabited village areas in the municipality of Ranua. Caruna is responsible for electricity distribution across the entire municipality.

Local water cooperatives manage water supply in the villages and sparsely populated areas. You can obtain information about the operational areas of the water cooperatives from the technical department or the Technical Director.
