Public Transport Services

Public transport services are intended for all residents permanently living in the municipality of Ranua. Routes between the villages and the town center operate up to twice a week during school holidays and once a week during school terms. A minimum of two passengers is required for each trip.

Passengers must book their transport directly with the operator using the phone numbers listed below. There are no fixed timetables. The maximum time for errands in the town center is 1.5 hours. Passengers pay the fare according to the bus ticket price list provided below.

Public transport services are organized by the municipality of Ranua. The transport operators have been selected through a competitive bidding process. For more information about the municipal transport services, please contact the Technical Director.
